University of Tennessee runs in-venue TV network on FanConnect HD

Knoxville, TN - The University of Tennessee will use FanConnect HD from 10 Foot Wave to run the in-venue TV networks for all football and basketball games. The installation at Neyland Stadium was recently completed and represents an expansion from last winter's setup at Thompson-Boling Arena. The new HD TV network provides in-game video, live stats, game updates, and integrated sponsorships to over 1.2 million fans annually across football and basketball. Hundreds of flat-screen TVs in suites, club levels and concourses throughout the facility will feature the new TV network content.
"We are always looking for ways to enhance the game day experience for fans at Neyland Stadium and Thompson-Boling Arena," says Doug Kose, University of Tennessee assistant athletic director, sales and marketing. "FanConnect HD lets us engage fans with live stats and real-time game information on TVs throughout our venues."
The Vol Network and College Gametime Network will sell sponsorships and advertising on the new HD TV network. "We are excited about the new digital media sponsorship opportunities FanConnect is bringing to Neyland Stadium," says Steve Early, general manager, Vol Network IMG Sports & Entertainment Properties.
